16.4.1 Opening December 4, 09, 6 – 10pm
16.4.1 sees Fionnuala Mahon and Sharon Murphy take on the dual roles of curator and artist. The exhibition will move away from traditional curating methods by engaging 16 artists in a situation-specific collective. This exhibition brings together a wide variety of disciplines ranging from digital art, drawing, illustration, installation, multimedia, painting, photography, print, sculpture, textiles and video.
The emerging and established artists participating in the show include Mark Beatty, Ella Burke, Claudia Boese, Ruth Doorley, Carol Freeman, Orla Gargan, Nicholas Grey, Elaine Hurley, Victoria MacArthur, Conor Mahon, Fionnuala Mahon, Elaine McCague, Elaine McHugh, Sharon Murphy and Nicky Teegan, with a special performance on the opening night by artists Meabh Redmond and Niamh Murphy.
Paul Clancy Single Launch
Come celebrate the launch of Paul Clancy’s latest single, “Hope in your Heart.” From 7pm – 10pm, with Paul and his friends playing live between 8 and 9pm
